All dressed up, washing the car, and the car show

This is kind of a long post but we had a bunch of really fun stuff going on this weekend. The first few pictures are just us dressed up for church. The boys were so cute I just couldn't resist.

We decided to wash the car on Saturday - I'm not sure it was such a great idea because Eli thought it would be fun to play in the bubbles. He made quite a mess but we enjoyed it.

This last picture was taken at the car show that a local car club hosts every friday night. The kids loved the Batmobile.

The ward trunk or treat

This year our ward held their annual trunk or treat party a week before Halloween. Porter and Eli were really excited to wear their costumes. Don't be scared - the scary pirate is really just Porter. And of course Eli is none other than the famous Bam - Bam.

Mommy's Big Helper

So yesterday I was finishing up Eli's Bam- Bam costume for Halloween. He just stared at me and watched my every move as I used a textile marker to color triangles on his orange sweats. Anyway, when I finished I put them on him so Bo could see when he got home. Well, as usual Eli disappeared into the kitchen - when I went to check on him he had a pen in his hand and was trying to color on his pants (he had to get the pen off the counter in order to do this so I am still a little baffled). He gave me the look that said "you did it - why can't I?" I think he is just too smart sometimes.

Fun with Pa

The other day we were over visiting Bo's parents. Porter loves to play tinker toys with his Pa. Here are a couple of pictures of his great creations.

Bath time

Bo was being an awesome dad the other night and gave the boys a bath while I did the dishes. We had pasta for dinner so of course Eli was covered in red sauce and loved every minute of it. When I give the kids a bath it is almost always a quick little bath - Bo on the other hand plays with the kids and the shampoo. As a result we have this great picture of Eli. We didn't realize his hair was quite so long (it is really curly so when it is not pulled strait it appears to be much shorter.) He didn't want to stand still for too long that is why it is off center - but I still think it is cute.
